We were able to donate $1,387.00 to Anna's fund.
Break Down:
$1,500 was the sold price.
We received $1,441.20 after fees.
Shipping was $54.51 via EMS to Hong Kong.
$1,386.69 was the final amount, we rounded it up to the next dollar.
$1,387 was donated.

We will continue to try to raise funds in October. We are looking for customizers who will donate their time (but will be paid for their services) into making a special Blythe Doll. Please contact us if you are interested in helping us create special Blythe Dolls to raise funds in October.

Update on Anna

Yesterday we raised $1,500 (before fees, shipping), from auctioning off Farrah Baby, a custom Nostalgic Pop by GBaby Dolls/Gina Soriano. Farrah Baby will be traveling to the city of Hong Kong tomorrow.

100% of the proceeds (after fees, shipping) will be donated to Anna's GiveForward page.

Thank you for all the interest and kind gestures for Anna's recovery. We cannot thank you enough.

Here is a personal update from Anna:

My surgery was a success, and treatment has started, i will be doing hormonal therapy by month everyday for the next 5 years. We have got all the cancer cells and so far so good. Reconstruction has started and should be going for my 2nd surgery soon. We will also be going in hopefully next month to retrieve some eggs to store for future children. I'm feeling good and happy that I came out lucky but the fight is far from over.

Update on Anna

Anna is pulling through, keeping strong and trying to heal up after the first procedure. She is in good spirit (as always). She is a fighter and a hero to many of us.

We are finalizing the first auction to raise funds for Anna. The doll we will be auctioning off is an original custom Nostalgic Pop Blythe Doll by Gina - G♥Baby. We are thankful for her dedicated time in helping us create this special doll for Anna's fundraising.

This doll will be available for auction in Mid December.

Please keep Anna in your hearts

Today Anna will go for her surgery for a double mastectomy. It is a 5.5 hour procedure. If there are no complications she should be home by Tuesday. Please keep Anna and her family in your hearts.

I will update this post as I receive updates from her family.

♥ 11:30am :: Anna is in good spirit, laughing and joking. Surgery is expected to happen at 1pm.
♥ 2:30pm :: Anna has gone in for surgery. Her surgeons are great doctors. They will update us soon.
♥ 4:30pm :: Anna's first half of the surgery went well. They will update us when she's in recovery.
♥ 5:00pm :: Anna's surgery went well. There were no complications. She will go home tomorrow.

Currently we are working on an auction for Anna to raise some funds for her medical costs.

Our first auction will be a custom Blythe Doll with clothes and fun accessories. The details are yet to be determined as we are still in the planning process.

Hello!

This is a website for Anna Rivera, a wonderful person who is battling Breast Cancer.

This is her story --

Anna Rivera just turned 32 on August 18th. Anna enjoys reading, traveling, the beach and spending time with her friends and family and laughing.

Recently Anna has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in both breasts. As a result, she has to undergo a radical double mastectomy.

Unfortunately for Anna her insurance only covers so much. There are many out of pocket expenses that Anna must pay herself.

For example, insurance will cover the reconstructive breast surgery but they will NOT cover the Plastic Surgeon fees.

Anna is looking forward to the day she has a family of her own. In order to make that happen, however, she will need to go through procedures to harvest her eggs. This means another out of pocket expense to harvest the eggs as the insurance company will not cover for that either.

It is a very long road ahead for Anna but one that holds the promise of a long, happy, and healthy life.
I’d like to ask that you please find it in your heart to help a family member, a friend, or a perfect stranger, even if all you can give at the moment is a prayer for Anna. No amount is too small.

All proceeds will be given directly to Anna to help cover mounting medical expenses.
